Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Location: Remote (UK-based, with 1 onsite visit every 2 months to Head Office)
Salary: £12.50–15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time Human Resources Officer to support our growing food business. The ideal candidate will lead HR processes, ensure legal compliance, and foster a people-first culture in line with our culinary mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record-keeping
  • Develop and implement HR policies tailored to the hospitality and service industry
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management
  • Support recruitment for kitchen, service, and corporate roles
  • Ensure legal compliance including Right to Work checks, visa sponsorship and liaison with the Home Office
  • Assist with the setup and management of pension schemes
  • Draft and maintain job descriptions aligned with operational needs
  • Participate in organisational development and employee engagement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policy implementation
  • Proven experience in employee relations, policy drafting, and recruitment
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to work remotely and independently
  • Experience handling visa sponsorship and compliance
  • Comfortable visiting Head Office once every 2 months
