About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR & Authorising Officer to join our Leicester branch on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with HR experience who is organised, compliance-focused, and confident in handling staff documentation and authorisation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administration
- Process staff onboarding and offboarding documentation
- Verify and authorise employee records and compliance documents
- Maintain accurate personnel files in line with GDPR requirements
- Conduct right-to-work checks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support recruitment activities and staff inductions
- Liaise with management regarding staffing approvals and updates
- Monitor training records and certification renewals
Requirements
- Previous HR or administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of employment compliance and documentation
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
